“We Have Sinned”

“We have sinned.”  These were the words that Daniel prayed as he searched the Scriptures (Jeremiah) and realized that the time of captivity and exile for the Jews was nearly over.
Pastor Adam brings the message from Daniel, chapter 9 this Sunday, and points out that what’s really amazing about Daniel using the words “WE have sinned” is this: “Throughout the book, Daniel is the only one who doesn’t do what is wrong. He keeps getting things right! He’s the one staying pure. He’s the one staying faithful. When the pagans around him are going wild, even in his own rise to power, when other Jews compromise, he’s the one who keeps obeying, and praying even when it’s costly, and taking those steps of faith, and reading the Scriptures!”
We’ll be looking at the importance of “corporate confession”…the Recognition, the Response, the Rescue.
Pastor Ray brings the message from Daniel chapter 8 in the Chapel service that is held at 11:00. His message is titled “How Long?” Ray will begin by reading from Daniel 8, verses 1 through 12, looking at the vision and its interpretation. We’ll spend the remainder of our time looking at how Evil Will Have Its Day…and God Will Have His Say.
