NEW Guidelines for Donations to the Five Forks Clothes Closet
Due to an overwhelming abundance of recent donations we have established these NEW Guidelines.
We are able to accept donations for most clothing items from ONLY Five Forks Church attendees.
Exception: infant and children’s clothing is always needed and accepted.
Donated clothes must fit in a kitchen size trash bag (13 gal or smaller) These bags may be left in the Clothes Closet Bin inside the Main Entrance at the church.
If your donation is several bags of clothes, please deliver them to the Clothes Closet during operating hours listed below.
Please DO NOT leave donations outside the buildings.
Please, no large estate donations. Contact other local organizations such as the Waynesboro Human Services or the New Hope shelter to see if they will accept these.
We accept only gently used, clean clothing which is not outdated or unfashionable.
Out of respect for the future recipient: please only donate items you would be happy for someone to receive.
If you wouldn’t wear it because it is damaged or stained we do not want to give it to our clientele who visit the Clothes Closet.
Thank you for abiding by these guidelines.
