When I (Pastor Brady) was talking with our Youth Worship Team about setting aside a Sunday Evening to be a dedicated time of worship, they were excited! Plans and ideas were starting to formulate about how it could look, what songs we could sing, and all of a sudden one of the high school seniors, Nadine, in the band said, “Why don’t we invite the whole church?”
Here at Five Forks Church, we talk a lot about being an “Intergenerational Church”. In other words, we want to be a church community that regardless of a person’s age, we want to be a united body of believers who have one clear goal in mind, “Knowing, Loving, and Following Jesus”.
So, why don’t we invite the whole church?! We are inviting folks of all ages to join us for this night of worship. As we sing songs of worship, both classic hymns and recently written songs, spend time in prayer and meditation and have times of Scripture reading, we hope to see the body united in the Chapel on Sunday, November 12th starting at 6:30 PM!
Let’s turn off the football game, put down the book, and set aside the busyness of life for one evening to come together in worshipping our Lord and Savior. We hope to see everyone there!
