A Great Problem To Have! We have our 3rd Baptism Sunday of 2023 coming up in just a few weeks, and we have so many individuals looking to be baptized at the 9:45 service that we were asking ourselves, “How can we do the baptisms without cutting short the sermon or the time of praise and worship?” That’s a great “problem” to have, isn’t it? Here’s the answer we came up with. We will hold a Special Extended Service starting at 9:45 on Sunday, August 6th. We’ll open with a call to worship, then baptize the 5, 6, or more individuals who desire to be baptized and have a time of praise and worship before looking to Pastor Shaun to bring the morning message. Among those planning on being baptized are a number of older children, a number of teens, and at least one adult. At this point we envision the service concluding at approximately 11:00. Those attending our Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry will remain in the Auditorium for the baptisms before heading to their respective locations in the church for the remainder of the service. If you are a follower of Jesus and have never been baptized, please reach out to any of the pastors as they would be glad to talk with you about being baptized on the morning of the 6th. In this case, the longer the service, the better!
Note: The first service will begin (8:00 A.M.) and end (9:00 A.M.) at its normal time.
