We Won?
You may have heard fans of their favorite sports team either celebrate a win or mourn a loss, saying, “We won!” or “We didn’t do so well this week.” The operative word in question used here is “we”. The reality is that there really isn’t a “we” since those fans were not actually on the field or court in the midst of all of the action. You have to actually be in on the action to properly claim the word “we”. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Larry will bring the message titled “Whatever, Whenever, Wherever.” Communion will follow. See you Sunday!
Just another reminder about our new Sunday morning format:
-
8:00 – 9:00 Traditional Service
-
9:15 – 10:00 Discipleship Block
-
10:15 – 11:15 Modern Service
-
11:30 – 12:00 Sermon Lab
Stop by the Connect Station and check out the classes being offered and their locations during the Discipleship Block from 9:15 – 10:00. Good news – two new discipleship classes are starting up this Sunday, October 4th! The new Bible Project class will begin meeting in room B30 (just off the gym), and the new Men’s class called Reconciling Masculinity & Christianity will meet in the chapel basement. Check them out!
