Leading by Serving
Former major league baseball all-star and hall of famer Roberto Clemente once said, “Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don’t do it, you are wasting your time on this earth.” Back in 1972 on New Year’s Eve, he left the comfort of his home and took action as a servant directed towards helping the people of Nicaragua who had just suffered a massive earthquake. Unfortunately, the small cargo plane was overloaded with supplies and crashed shortly after takeoff. At the age of 38, he gave his life while personally leading a relief mission to those in need. He displayed the true heart of a servant by leading this mission of mercy. What are we doing as Jesus followers to do the lowly and loving work of a servant? As we put the lid on 2025 and roll into 2026, Join us this Sunday as Pastor Brady begins this year’s theme of “Energized for Action” as he shares the message, “It Takes A Village.” See you then!
