Assorted Fruit

Through the years, there are only a few single-flavor Life Savers popular enough to warrant their very own roll. Do you remember as a kid (or maybe even now) which one you would look forward to most in the roll of assorted fruit flavors? Well, by the numbers, at the top of the fruit list is cherry. So, one would suffer through all the other flavors in the roll until they encountered the prize – the cherry Life Saver. Now, no matter your preference, did you know that along with Hope, three of the Fruit of the Spirit are represented in our Advent wreath? And they all work together with Jesus, our Life Saver, at the center of it all. Join us this Sunday as Pastor Larry shares about “The Disruptive Joy of Advent.” We hope to see you there!

And don’t forget to bring your ornament this week to help fill up our Five Forks Church Family Christmas Tree! There are hooks and labels next to the tree for your convenience.

Finally, a reminder that we will be having two candlelight Christmas Eve services. The traditional service will be in the chapel starting at 3:00 p.m., followed by the modern service at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium. We will celebrate communion at both, so be sure to join us on this very special night.
