Introducing Our New Pastor of Children’s Ministry
 
We are happy to share the following news with you:  Heather Leese has been hired as our new Pastor of Children’s Ministry.   Many of you already know Heather as she and her husband Mike have been an active part of Five Forks Church for the past twenty years.  Heather and Mike are also the parents of Ricky and Aaron who grew up here at FFC.
 
While attending Five Forks, Heather has served as a Sunday School teacher, Awana Cubbies Co-director, Nursery Volunteer and Youth Group leader.  She has also served as a volunteer with Vacation Bible School, Craft Camp, and Music Camp.  
 
Heather is highly qualified to lead this important area of our church, as she brings a strong skill set and years of experience working with children.  She has been involved in teaching children for over 25 years, and for the past 10 years has been teaching preschool and 4th-grade students in both public and private schools.  She has completed her Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on early childhood development. 
 
She began Monday – October 21^st – on a part-time basis until the school where she is currently employed is able to fill her position.  We would appreciate your prayers for Heather, her family, and her ministry here at Five Forks Church!
