That Intense Painful Feeling Called Shame
Our sermon series is called Pursuing Wholeness, and this week Pastor Shaun will have us focus on the topic of Shame. We’re digging deep into I Kings 19 where the prophet Elijah is struggling mentally and emotionally, and this week we’ll explore what has brought about the shame that he’s experiencing. Most importantly, we’ll see how God responds to Elijah in order to better understand how God responds to us in our shame.
Note: We’ll be observing Communion at the conclusion of both services this Sunday morning.
