The Importance of Remembering “If we have no memory, we are adrift – because memory anchors us to the past, interprets the present, and charts a course for the future.” (Jeffrey Arthurs) This Sunday Pastor Ray concludes his sermon series called “Walk This Way.” We’re going to look at the value of walking with God and remembering, but not just the past although that’s where it starts. The things we remember impact our present lives and can help provide anticipation and hope for our future. Our Scripture text will come from Deuteronomy 4, so be sure to read this chapter prior to Sunday morning.
