Not Merely a Pretty Poem
 
Author Dallas Willard says “The 23^rd Psalm is not merely a pretty poem with charming sentiments, but an accurate description of the kind of life available to anyone who will allow God to be their Shepherd.” 
 
This Sunday we’re going to begin a 4-week sermon series where Pastor Shaun will walk us through this well-known Scripture passage.  Go ahead and read Psalm 23 prior to Sunday, and then we’ll get started by looking at the first 8 words:  “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing…”  The Lord is not just a Shepherd, as followers of Jesus, we can say that He is my Shepherd.  Join us this coming Sunday as we gather and draw closer to our Good Shepherd!
