A Special Sunday

We have been looking forward to this coming Sunday for a number of reasons. 

1. In the morning, we will be combining our two services into one, gathering as one at 9:00 A.M. for a special Thanksgiving service. 

2. After the service, many who serve on our Deacon Board will begin bagging all the food that many of you have generously donated…food that will be distributed to those in our church family who would benefit prior to Thanksgiving Day.

3. In the evening, over 150 volunteers will gather in the gym to pack 50,000 meals that will go to feed the hungry. This event is being sponsored by our Student Ministries in conjunction with the ministry Rise Against Hunger.

The morning service will include a time of praise and worship led by those on our Student Ministry Worship Team.  In the midst of the service, Pastor Ray will be joined on the stage by Momina Bingaman and John Stoner, who will share a brief testimony of God working in their lives.  Ray will later bring a short devotional titled “Thankful for the Little Things” based on Psalm 107.
