Using Truth as a Tool
 
As followers of Jesus, we want to know what is true, live it out, share truth with others.  As Pastor Ray continues his series – Love Matters More – he will be sharing how to use truth as a tool.  Truth, properly understood and lived out, results in love.  And so we will be looking at three ways that we talk about truth: 

• Fact Truth – Facts that we know to be true (1 + 1 = 2).  Fact truth leads to knowledge.

• Meaning Truth – More than just the facts, we look to make sense of their meaning.

• Wisdom Truth – Gathering facts, understanding the meaning, then looking to Jesus to help us know how to live life well.  

Our Scripture text comes from II Peter, 1:5-9, so take time to read this passage before Sunday morning.
