A Special Sunday

A Special Sunday
This Sunday we will be observing Communion at the conclusion of both services.
During the 9:45 service, Pastors Chris and Brady will lead a blessing over our students, teachers, administrators…anyone and everyone involved in the new school year.  Please remember to bring your backpacks, etc., and place them at the front of the stage before the start of the service.
In addition, Pastors Bill, Ray, and Shaun will together bring the message titled “Unswerving:  The Hope That We Have.”  We’ll begin by asking, “Is There Reason for Hope?” before taking a look at “The Hope That We Have.”  They will have us “Look Ahead” at some of the practical ways that we can help each other follow Jesus.  Our Scripture passage is found in Hebrews 10:23-25.
Important:  As you enter the Auditorium, there will be a table with pre-packaged cups that contain a wafer (symbolizing Jesus’ broken body) and juice (symbolizing Jesus’ shed blood).  Please be sure to pick one up on your way into the Auditorium if you are able to participate in communion with us.  You will also have the option of taking bread that was baked this past week (including gluten-free) and placed in individual baggies.  Whichever elements you use, the essential thing is that we remember Jesus’ sacrifice, and how His death gives us life.
Go HERE at 8:00 or 9:45 in order to view the live stream.
Go HERE for a copy of the bulletin for the Sunday services (which contains the song lists and the outline for this week’s message).
We’re looking forward to worshipping Jesus with you this Sunday!
