The Church Board met this past Tuesday evening, and part of the discussion revolved around what has been transpiring over these past few weeks, both locally and across this nation: A gradual return to normalcy.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our church family, for the understanding and grace that you have extended to one another – and to those of us who serve on the Board – over the course of this past year. There have been many difficult decisions to make, and we appreciate your understanding and are grateful for your prayers and your support as we have sought God’s guidance.
It was a year ago in June that we began resuming In-Person services, making two requests: That we physically distance by using every other row during services, and that we wear a face covering when not in our seats. We are grateful for your understanding when it came to both of these requests.
As of last Sunday, all rows are now available for seating, and masks will be optional for all ages moving forward.
Again, the Board is very much appreciative of your support and encouragement over the course of this past year, and we eagerly anticipate what lies ahead for Five Forks Church as we look to know, love, and follow Jesus!
