Another Outdoor Service!
Many of you are aware that during the 2nd weekend in August we held an outdoor worship service here at the church. Actually, it was held across the road at the ballfield, and it was well attended and many who came out said we should do this again.
And so we are planning on having another service on the ballfield on Saturday evening, September 19th. This one will start an hour earlier – 6:00 P.M. rather than 7:00 P.M. – due to the fact that the days are growing shorter and we would like to be done before dark.
Just like in August, we will have a small worship team leading us in songs of praise and worship, and Pastor Shaun will bring the message from his sermon series called Fatal.
We are asking those who attend to park in the lot at the ballfield; the “stage” will be on the infield, and we are asking everyone to bring a blanket or lawn chair to set up in the grass in the outfield. There are approximately 20 parking spots near the outfield fence and will look to reserve these spots for those who wish to take in the service while remaining in their vehicle.
We do ask that when laying down your blanket or setting up your chair, that you maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between yourself and others who are attending. And be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to fellowship with those around you! We hope that you will be able to join us on the 19th!
