“You call me ‘Teacher’…”
When you think of the many teachers you’ve had throughout the course of your life, who are the ones who immediately come to mind? Some of you may think of parents or grandparents, or you may think of teachers you had in school, or perhaps a mentor who had a strong influence on shaping your views and approach to life.
How long does it take for Jesus to come to mind when identifying influential teachers?
This Sunday, Pastor Bill will bring a message titled “The Teacher.” We’ll talk about the role that our many teachers have played, and evaluate the results of their teaching. We’ll look at Jesus, who is addressed as “Teacher” 60 times in the gospels. And as we learn from Jesus, Bill will encourage us to invite Jesus to take us deeper than just the basics of our faith.
Be sure to join us for what looks to be our last “live stream only” service this Sunday morning at 9:30!
Prior to the message, we will all come before God with songs of praise and worship!
PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O, my soul praise Him for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near…praise Him with glad adoration.
LOVE HAS A NAME The name that’s lifted high forever…the name that shakes the earth and shakes the heavens…the hope of every heart: Jesus!
DEATH WAS ARRESTED Alone in my sorrow and dead in my sin, lost without hope with no place to begin…Your love made a way to let mercy come in, when death was arrested and my life began.
CENTER MY LIFE There is none more beautiful than Jesus. There is none more powerful, the risen Christ, lifted high, Jesus, now be glorified…center my life on Your name.
