Now What?

This past Sunday was Easter, the climax of the Christian Calendar.  Now what?  What are we, as followers of Jesus, to be doing now?  To find the answer, we invite you to join us at 9:30 for the Live Stream Service.
Pastor Shaun is going to have us look at what those original followers of Jesus were doing shortly after the resurrection.  We’ll look at the event called Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit.  We’ll look at how God’s Spirit guides us and empowers us to live like Jesus.
At the conclusion of the service, we will – from our homes – observe communion together, remembering and reflecting on Jesus’ sacrifice.  Be sure to have the elements – the bread symbolizing the body of Jesus, the cup symbolizing the blood of Jesus – on hand so that you can join us!
You can click HERE for the bulletin for Sunday, April 19th where you will find an outline for Sunday’s sermon titled Now What?
In addition to the message and communion, we will come before God with songs of worship and praise:
“In the middle of the darkness, the light of the world has come, You will make all things new.”
“Lord, I need You, oh, I need you.  Every hour I need You.  My one defense, my righteousness, Oh God how I need You.”
“Only Thou art holy, there is none beside Thee…perfect in power, in love, and purity.”
“You’ve come to bring peace, to be love, to be nearer to us.  You’ve come to bring life, to be light, to shine brighter in us…oh, Emmanuel, God with us.”
While we would love to see all of you in person this Sunday, those of us who are here will be encouraged and strengthened by the awareness that you are with us nevertheless!
