Tuesday Update

Greetings Church!  While it is our desire to be an encouragement to you during this difficult time, on behalf of the staff, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you what an encouragement you have been to us!
Over these past few weeks, we have received emails, cards and phone calls letting us know that you are praying for us and for the church.  You have reminded us of God’s promises found in Scripture and you have offered to make phone calls to those who live alone and provide transportation and meals for those in need.  Thank you Five Forks Church!
We also take encouragement in the fact that many of you are taking time every Sunday morning to watch the live stream as you join us in worshipping Jesus.  This means so much to us.  While there may be many things that are currently off-limits to us, gathering together (even if confined to our homes) to worship Jesus on Sunday morning is not one of them!
Besides letting you know how much we appreciate you, I want to take this opportunity to let you know of another resource that was passed on to me just last week.  It’s called BibleProject, which produces fully animated Bible videos (and other Bible resources) to help people better understand and experience the story of the Bible.
Here is the link that will take you to the introductory page.
One section that might be of particular interest is the “Church at Home” series. This week’s study is on the Gospel of the Kingdom, with a clear connection to this week leading up to Easter.  Here’s the link.
Take time to explore some of the videos that they have to offer, and I’ll bet you’ll come away with a greater understanding of “The one unified story that leads to Jesus.”
As always, please contact any of the staff if you have any needs, concerns or prayer requests.  We would welcome the opportunity to talk and pray with you and for you.
Until then, the Lord bless you and keep you!
Pastor Bill
