Coming of Age

Are you familiar with the term Coming of Age?   We often use this to describe the transition between childhood and adulthood.  Don’t we see this transition taking place in the spiritual realm as well? Aren’t we looking to grow and mature in our understanding of Jesus and how He is working in our lives?
There are many ways (people, events) that God uses to help us grow and mature, and this Sunday in the Auditorium Pastor Bill will have us look at one way that we might easily overlook, and that is through failure.
We’ll identify four valuable lessons that God has taught us through our failures, and by doing so, help us mature and come of age.
Pastor Ray will be bringing the message in the Chapel which meets at 11:00.  He will be talking about Connecting With God, looking at 5 different types of prayers that are found in the Old Testament.  This will help us to better understand how we can pray as we look to connect with God.
Reminder for those who choose to remain at home, you can still join us by viewing the 9:30 service as we stream it live.  Go to this link to join the service from home: https://ffbic.org/service-live-stream/
