We have some very important dates coming up that we don’t want you to miss. These include:
Sunday, February 23rd – Baptism/Membership Sunday
This will be our first Sunday of 2020 to baptize those who have decided to follow Jesus and bring into membership those who desire to become a part of our church family. If you are interested in either, or simply have questions, please contact Pastor Bill (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Sunday, March 15th – CONNECT Lunch and Tour
Twice a year (spring and fall) at the conclusion of the morning services, the staff hosts a luncheon for those who have recently started attending Five Forks Church. After we eat, each staff person will lead groups of 4-10 on a tour of the church complex. If you would like to attend, please contact Pastor Shaun (email@example.com).
Sunday, March 22nd, 29th, April 5th – CONNECT Class
A logical follow up to the CONNECT lunch, we set aside three weeks to inform and help connect new attendees (or anyone with an interest) to our church family. Pastor Bill leads the first week (Who We Are and What We Believe), Steve Mitchell leads the second week (How We Function), and Chris Bumbaugh leads the third week (Opportunities to Get Involved). If you are interested or have questions, please contact Pastor Bill (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Friday, April 3rd – Corporate Prayer Hour
We are inviting the congregation to gather in the Chapel for our second (of four) corporate prayer hours in 2020. We will be praying for the Lord to work among us and through us as we head into the week of Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter.
Wednesday, April 8th – Love Feast/Communion/Foot Washing
This past Sunday’s message focused on the importance of our church family eating together. One of the most important times for this to happen is on the Wednesday evening between Palm Sunday and Easter. More details will be coming, but be sure to keep this night open so that you are able to join us for this special evening.
Sunday, April 12th – Easter Sunday
Starting with the Sunrise Service and continuing throughout the morning, we will gather together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus!
Sunday, April 26th – Youth Sunday
Every year in late April, we look to our youth to take the lead in the morning worship services. Be sure to join us and get a glimpse of the work that God is doing in the lives of our students.
