“….as we have forgiven our debtors.”

British theologian Charles Williams once said, “No word in English carries a greater possibility of terror than the little word “as” in that clause.”  (Charles Williams)
Williams was referring to Jesus’ words as He was teaching His disciples to pray:  “Forgive us our debts as we have forgiven our debtors.”  We are asking God to extend to us the same level of forgiveness that we extend to those who have wronged us and hurt us.
This Sunday, Pastor’s Shaun (Auditorium) and Bill (Chapel) bring the message, and it’s on Forgiveness.    We’ll talk about what it is, what it isn’t, and why we must put into practice the teaching of Jesus.

Note: There will be two baptisms that will be taking place at the beginning of the 9:30 service.
