Not Measuring Up?

Do you remember going to an amusement park as a kid, and not being able to get on certain rides because you didn’t “measure up?”  You know what I’m talking about? Those measuring units they have inside the front gate, letting you know how tall you have to be to get on certain rides.  It’s no fun not measuring up.

How about when it comes to our prayers?  Are there some that are so small, so insignificant that they don’t measure up and get heard by God?   Does He hear and does He care?

This Sunday, as we continue to listen to what Jesus is teaching about prayer, we’ll see that God is concerned about small things, including what some might call small prayers.   Pastors Shaun (Auditorium) and Bill (Chapel) bring the message – God of the Small Things – this Sunday.  Read Matthew 6:5-15 ahead of time!
