The Key to Intimacy With God

We’ve been talking about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.  We’ve been talking about being a congregation that knows, loves and follows Jesus.  We’ve talked about “experiencing God” in our lives.  If we are going to have an authentic, personal relationship with God, then prayer must become a natural and regular part of our lives.

This Sunday, Pastors Shaun (Auditorium) and Brian (Chapel) continue our study of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and we find that in the middle of His sermon, Jesus teaches His followers about prayer.  And we will be taking several weeks to discover the powerful lessons that Jesus teaches us.  Read Matthew 6:5-9 in preparation for Sunday’s sermon!
