4th Sunday of Advent 2018

This is Christmas Sunday and Ray’s message in the Auditorium services is called Jesus, An Unlikely Messiah.   We’ll be exploring the unexpected way that Jesus came to live among us and the unexpected things He came to do.   We’ll gain insight into these things as we compare and contrast Caesar Augustus and Jesus.  We’ll also look at what Mary “pondered” after the arrival of the Shepherds on the night of Jesus’ birth…and why we would be wise to do the same.
Pastor Brian brings the Christmas message in the Chapel service; it’s titled Not of This World.  It was a response given by Jesus in the midst of a conversation with Pontius Pilate hours before Jesus was crucified.  But in order to understand all the dynamics in play, we have to go back to the days of Jesus birth.  Brian will have us do that in order to understand the incredible significance of Heaven coming down.
