“People are healthier, cleaner, richer and better informed than ever. We live longer, eat better, dress warmer, work less, and play more than ever in the history of the human race. But are we content? Or are we just cleaner, healthier, wealthier discontents?” (Ortberg, Love Beyone Reason)
This Sunday Pastor Shaun begins a new sermon series that will take us through the month of November. His series is titled The Art of Contentment, and this week we’ll see that contentment is a life-style.
Our November sermon series in the Chapel is called Ancient Words, Ever True. We’ll be looking at different problems that have always been before us. Long ago, and to this day. The ancient words found in the Scriptures point us to Jesus, who helps us to find our way. Pastor Ray brings the first message in this series, titled “When Life is Unfair.” We’ll go to Psalm 73 and read about Asaph, and the difficult journey he was on as he dealt with the injustice of life.
