This Sunday Pastor Brian wraps up his October series in the traditional services (8:00 Auditorium, 11:00 Chapel). His message for this Sunday is called From Boomtown to Ghost Town. Brian will talk about the how Boomtowns come in all their glory with lots of energy being poured into them…and then they fade away. In the same way, if we pour everything we have into this life, then we end up jeopardizing our relationship with God…the only thing that’s eternal. Our Scripture text is Acts 17:16-34
Pastor Bill’s series – Less of Me, More of You – concludes this Sunday in the modern services (9:30 and 11:00 Auditorium). His message is titled When the Spotlight Finds You. We’ve been talking all month about embracing obscurity, but there will be times throughout life where we find ourselves in the spotlight. When that happens, we want to embrace it in all the right ways for all the right reasons. Just as Jesus did when He was in the spotlight. Our Scripture text is Psalm 39:4-7.
