“I am the LORD, that is my name! I will not give my glory to another…” (Isaiah 42:8). Our sermon series in the modern services in the Auditorium (9:30 and 11:00) is called Less of Me, More of You. We are talking how we can embrace obscurity in order to make much of God. Bill’s message this Sunday is titled O To Be Like Thee as we seek to be like Jesus, who appears to have cared little about enhancing His own reputation, instead lived each day looking to bring glory to His Father.
Pastor Brian continues his series The Truth of the Matter in the traditional services (8:00 Auditorium, 11:00 Chapel). Brian’s message is titled Telling the Truth About Jesus. We’re looking at different events in the book of Acts to gain insight into what happens when people encounter truth. This Sunday we’ll be in Acts 2 where Peter confronts his fellow Jews about what they have done to the Son of God.
