Excuse me Jesus, But haven’t you forgotten something?

As we continue our sermon series called Ancient Words, Ever True, we will be looking at what Jesus teaches about the way we give.   He has been invited to the home of a Pharisee for a meal, and Jesus sits down to eat without washing His hands. This is what takes the Pharisee aback, and opens the door for Jesus to talk about two important aspects of giving. Bill’s sermon is called The Way We Give and our Scripture text is Luke 11:37-42.
Pastor Ray continues his series – Our Weakness, God’s Strength – in the Chapel. This Sunday Ray will have us looking at the topic of Shame – that feeling that you are not accepted, or worse, unacceptable. Our Scripture text found in Hebrews 12:1-3.
