Whom Shall I Fear?

Evil men, enemies, foes are coming against David….he had many reasons to be overcome by fear. But he said, “The Lord is the stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?”
This Sunday Pastor Bill continues his sermon series in the Auditorium called Ancient Words, Ever True. We are looking at ancient stumbling blocks – like fear – and looking to the written word (Scripture) and the Living Word (Jesus) for the answers we need to overcome them. This week we read from Psalm 27 to see what David did in order to overcome the fear in his life, and we’ll see how we can do the same.
Pastor Ray continues his sermon series in the Chapel called Our Weakness, God’s Strength.   This week Ray will have us looking at temptation…we’ll see how Jesus was tempted – and resisted.   We’ll see how we face temptation every day, and what we must do to resist. Ray’s message is titled “My Tug of War.”

We will be baptizing 3 individuals this Sunday morning! Lori Diffenderfer and Jim Plunkett will be baptized at the beginning of the 9:30 service. Maggie Peiffer will be baptized at the start of the 11:00 service in the Auditorium.
