Blessed…In Order to Bless

This Sunday in the Auditorium we continue our series on The Patriarchs. This Sunday we’ll be looking at a phrase that has come up in the first two weeks of this series, but words that we haven’t talked about yet.   The words found in Genesis 12:2-3: “…so that you will be a blessing…” and later in Genesis 22:16-18: “..and all nations of the earth gain blessing…”
We will be looking at a brand new idea for Abraham and Isaac and the world in which they lived…and it is also something very powerful for us to understand. Pastor Ray’s sermon is titled “Blessed…In Order to Bless.” (Ray is filling in this Sunday for Pastor Shaun.)
You’re Not AlonePastor Brian’s Chapel Series – Elijah, Man of God – continues with a message titled You’re Not Alone.   Last Sunday Brian had us look at how Elijah, the people, and the prophets of Baal saw the power of God displayed at Mount Carmel. And yet as we will see this Sunday, Elijah is about to confront a circumstance that will overwhelm his spirit, causing him to believe that he would rather die than face the fear before him. Let’s see what God has to say to Elijah and us as we face any fears that we may have.
