Life in the Palace

A young Jewish woman by the name of Esther finds herself – incredibly – living in the palace; the queen in the great Persian Empire. Because of this she was in a position to use the influence she had to help rescue God’s children. But she was hesitant. It was complicated. It was risky.
Identifying as a follower of Jesus and using the influence we have to help others is complicated at times, perhaps even risky. This week in the Auditorium Pastor Bill continues our sermon series Beneath the Surface, and we’ll be looking at Life in the Palace…both the importance and the danger. Read Esther chapters 3 & 4 to prepare for Sunday’s message.
Pastor Ray continues his series called Faith Builders for a New Year. This Sunday Ray will have us looking at the company we keep with a message titled Keeping Good Company. We’ll be looking at the type of friendships that can build our faith.   Read Ruth 1 to prepare.
