The Vulnerable God

We are looking forward to celebrating Jesus’ birth as the church gathers together this Sunday.
The Bell Choir will open all 3 services in the Auditorium.
There is a 16-member choir that will be singing at the 8:00 service in the Auditorium and the 11:00 service in the Chapel. A smaller choir will be joining the band on stage during the 9:30 and 11:00 services.
We will also continue our Advent Series called What Child Is This? with Pastors Bill (Auditorium) and Ray (Chapel) bringing the messages. Throughout this series we have been looking not only at the birth of Jesus, but what difference He makes in our lives.
Bill will point out that one reason Jesus came was to redeem and restore relationships…with God and with one another.  He did this by becoming vulnerable, a God we could hurt.  Bill’s sermon is titled The Vulnerable God.
Ray will point out how Jesus came to reverse the curse. We will look at how life was meant to be, what it became, and how the curse has been reversed by the coming and the work of Jesus. Ray’s message is titled Paradise Lost – Paradise Gained.
