Sunday Services

8:00 in the Auditorium….11:00 in the Chapel

Series: Will He Find Faith?

Sermon: The Persistent Widow

Scripture: Luke 18:1-8

Speaker: Pastor Brian

This Sunday Brian begins a 2-week sermon series called Will He Find Faith? The title comes from the question Jesus posed and recorded by Luke: “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
What do you suppose Jesus meant by that question? What will the spiritual condition of the planet be like when Jesus returns?   How much responsibility will we, as true believers in Christ in this present moment, bear for the state of that spiritual condition when Jesus returns?
Brian will have us in Luke’s gospel, chapter 18, verses 1 through 8 as we look at the story of the persistent widow.

9:30 and 11:00 in the Auditorium

Series: King Me

Sermon: An Alternative to Revenge and Idols

Scripture: Judges 8

Speaker: Pastor Ray

Ray continues the King Me sermon series in the 9:30 and 11:00 services in the Auditorium. Last week we left Gideon and the Israelites basking in the glow of a miraculous victory over the Midianites. But this week we will see things turn, as Gideon takes his eyes off of the true King.
We’ll be talking about the allure of power and money. We’ll see how Gideon handles it and hopefully learn how to respond to that allure ourselves.
