Dad said, “Be Nice To Us.”

Update:  Josh Roach has accepted the offer to join our staff and at this point it looks like his first Sunday at Five Forks will be on March 19th.
This Sunday we wrap up our February sermon series, Life Happens.   17 years have passed since Joseph revealed his true identity to his brothers. His father, Jacob, has just been buried and the brothers are afraid that Joseph still bears a grudge for what they did to him a long time ago.   So they send Joseph a message, essentially saying, “Dad said you have to be nice to us.”
We’ll look closely at Joseph’s response and discover 3 characteristics of a life that has been broken, healed and truly changed. Bill’s message is titled Reconciled; why not take a few minutes and read Genesis 50:15-21 before Sunday morning?
Ray wraps up his Counter Culture series in the Chapel with a message titled One in Christ – Wresting with Racism. Our main Scripture text is Revelation 7:9.
