And there were shepherds, living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. (Luke 2:8)
This Sunday morning – the second Sunday of Advent – we turn our attention to the theme of Hope and to the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks. Pastor Bill brings the message – And There Were Shepherds – in the Auditorium, and we’ll discover something significant about the flocks…which will tell us something about the Shepherds.
We’ll also talk about the Hope that you and I have…the hope that we can be delivered from the fear that so often defeats us. Hope in knowing that God can change us and bring healing to our areas of brokenness.
Pastor Shaun brings the message in the Chapel at 11:00…His message is titled “Peace”, another major theme of the Advent season.
