Come to the Back of the Line

This Sunday we embark on a new 8-week sermon series called “Living Out the New Life.”   One aspect of following Christ is a commitment to overcome divisiveness…and for the next 8 weeks we’ll be looking at Paul’s instructions to the Church in Corinth as he instructs them how to overcome conflict and live in unity.
Pastor Ray brings the first message in the series, a sermon titled “Come to the Back of the Line.”   Ray will give us some insight regarding the church in Corinth and the challenges they faced, many of the same challenges that are present in the church to this day.   Ray will be pointing out insights from the first 4 chapters, and so if you want to read ahead – and it’s always beneficial to read ahead – you will want to read I Corinthians 1 through 4.
Pastor Brian brings the message in the Chapel service at 11:00. Here we will be wrapping up the sermon series on the book of Daniel. Brian will have us looking at Daniel 12, his message is titled “Be a Star!” (The angel told Daniel that those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.)
