We Love a Good Drama

Many of us enjoy a good drama, and most dramas are based on a storyline of Good vs. Evil. The Lord of the Rings. The Chronicles of Narnia. We love reading books and watching movies as the drama – good vs. evil – unfolds. Where do you think this theme originates?
All of these fictional dramas provide us with a glimpse of the real thing, and this Sunday morning as we turn our attention to Daniel chapter 10, God pulls the curtain back and we get a glimpse of The Real Thing. Good vs. Evil, not just here in the visible earthly realm, but in the unseen heavenly realm as well.
The archangel Michael doing battle with the prince of Persia. Michael and Satan disputing over the body of Moses (???).   During the birth of Christ.   As the Jews leave Babylon and return home.   As Haman hatches his plot to wipe the Jews from the face of the earth.
Pastor Bill brings the message – It’s Our Turn – this Sunday in the Auditorium. We’ve been given a turn on God’s timeline; we are in this incredible drama that has been unfolding and continues to unfold. We’ll talk about what we will do with the turn we’ve been given.
Pastor Adam brings the message – Corporate Confession of Corporate Sin – in the Chapel service at 11:00.   Our scripture text will be Daniel chapter 9, and we’ll read about Daniel doing something very surprising as the Jews prepare to return home.
