Craft Camp Week

It’s been an incredible week here at the church – buzzing with activity – as approximately 85 children and 35 adults/youth helpers are participating in the 2016 Craft Camp. It started on Monday and wraps up tomorrow, running each day from 9:00am until 2:30pm.

The children have made or are making 4 major crafts this week (Stained Glass….Cork Boards…Yarn Art…Clay Pens) and numerous mini-crafts.

Tomorrow (Friday) the children will be holding an art exhibit from 1:30 until 2:30, displaying 1 or 2 of their best works of the week.   Anyone is welcome to attend.

Most significantly, Phyllis Witter begins each day leading a devotional (from the book of Nehemiah) in the Chapel, and 7 children have made the decision this week to trust Jesus (and His work on the Cross on their behalf) as the basis of their acceptance by God.

Thanks to all who have organized, planned and ultimately turned this week over to God…inviting Him to work and do what only He can do!
