News From Mozambique

Several weeks ago – during our sermon series on Finances – we read about the generosity of the churches in Macedonia as they we eager to provide support for a need that had arisen for the church in Jerusalem.

Earlier this year it was brought to our attention that the church in Mozambique – the country where Orville and Cheryl Hade serve as missionaries – had a need. They were trying to complete their church building before the rains came.

Many of you are aware that the church here at Five Forks ended the year with excess funds, and the Finance Committee chose to send $1,500 to be used towards the completion of this church building. The project is now complete and we want to give thanks to God for the opportunity to play a small part in the very significant work that He is doing locally AND around the world.

Here is a note of thanks we received from Orville and Cheryl and from the church in Mozambique:

Dear Five Forks Church -

We want to express our deep appreciation for the funds supplied to improve the Milange Church.  It has been such a blessing to be able to have a completed church building in which Pastors and leaders of the BIC church here in Mozambique can be comfortable as they learn about the Bible and other leadership skills.  The cement floors, plaster and paint makes the building more durable for the years to come.  Thank you very much.

God bless.

The Mozambique BIC Church members send you their thanks and blessings also:

Obrigado muito.  (thank you very much)

Deus te abençoe para o ajudar a construir nossa igreja.  (God bless you for helping to build our church.)
