Welcome to Five Forks Students!
Mission and Vision
Our Mission is to be a growing community of disciples makers that walk together to love God and love others. So, we do this by giving students the opportunity to get to...
Grow in their relationship with Him.
Go and share the Gospel!
What do we Do
Sunday morning, Wednesday night and Events & Retreats are just a few ways that students can get plugged in to. Above all, everything we do is filtered through our mission and vision. If you're in 6th-12th grade, we invite you to come check out our Student Ministries! Join us as we learn to live out our faith at home, school, and on the sports field. Finally, check out what we have coming up and feel free to contact Kenton Hock if you have any questions!
All 6th - 8th grade students are invited to join us at the Helman's House (7145 Green Corner Rd, Waynesboro, PA) on November 11th, from 4-7pm. We will be watching a movie, eating food, playing games, and hanging out! Guys bring a drink & girls bring a snack!
9 December - Christmas Caroling
All 6th - 12th grade are invited to join us on Sunday December 9th as we go spread the good news of Christmas to all of those around! We will start our caroling at Quincy Homes and then come back to church to talk and eat lunch. After that, we will be back out caroling at the homes of people within our church and around the area! We are excited to see how God uses us this day! Join us from 9:30am - 4:00pm as we go caroling!
19 December - Christmas Party
Join us December 19th in the Auditorium for our Christmas Party! We will have food, games, and the reading of the Christmas story! Hope to see you there!
Every Sunday morning at 9:30am, we provide two different Sunday School classes separated by grades. There is a class for Middle School students, 6th through 8th grade, and then a class for our High School students which is 9th through 12th grade. During this time our leaders teach the students various lessons on the Bible and what it means to be a Christian.
Join us from 7:00 to 8:15pm every Wednesday night in the Auditorium! We will have a time to hang out and worship together while looking at what God's Word says to us. Our goal is to build relationships and be able to learn what it means to be a part of the church community at large. Besides that, we does to see live change developed in our students!
The Senior High students at Five Forks participate in mission trips every other year. We are hoping to alternate each trip, one being in the states and then one as an overseas mission trip. With this format our students will have the opportunity to travel abroad at least once while attending Five Forks. However, this does not always happen. Our two most recent trips were from 2014 we sent a team to New York City and 2016 we sent a team to Belize. Furthermore, there will be other opportunities for all of our students to serve in the area of missions, such as the Chambersburg Project and other local mission outreaches.
