“That day the LORD saved Israel…”

“That day the LORD saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians…and when the Israelites saw the great power the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.”
This account is found in the 14th chapter of Exodus, and it’s the salvation story of the Israelites.   This month our sermon series is titled From Slavery to Intimacy, and we are discovering how God brings us out of slavery and into an intimate relationship with Him.  We are looking to how God worked in the past – through Moses – to gain insight into how He works in the present.
This week Pastors Bill (Auditorium) and Ray (Chapel) bring the message titled Salvation – God Delivers.  We’ll talk about how we need to be saved from ourselves, and also talk about what salvation looks like in our day to day lives.  Hope to see you Sunday!
